What this policy covers
This policy explains what information GigMinion collects when you use our website and app, why we collect it, and what choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information. Your name and email address when you create an account.
- Content you create. Songs, setlists, lyrics, chords, gig details and notes you enter.
- Payment information. Subscriptions are processed by Square. Square receives your card details directly; GigMinion never sees or stores your full card number.
- Usage information. Basic technical data such as browser type, pages visited and error reports, used to keep the service working.
How we use it
- To provide the service and keep your content available to you.
- To process subscription payments and send receipts.
- To answer support requests.
- To send service notices, and product news you can unsubscribe from at any time.
How we share it
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers that make GigMinion work, including our hosting provider, Square for payments, and our email provider, and only as needed to run the service. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Your content belongs to you
Setlists, lyrics and gig details you enter stay yours. We do not use your content to advertise to you or sell it to anyone else.
Information you store about other people
GigMinion lets you keep details about your bandmates, your clients and the venues you play — names, contact details, pay arrangements, notes. That information belongs to you, not to us. We hold it on your behalf so the service works.
- We do not sell it, mine it, or use it to market to anyone.
- We show it only to the people you share it with. Band members see what they need to play the gig; your client contacts are not part of that.
- You decide what to enter and what to delete. Delete it in the app and it goes.
- You are responsible for having the right to hold that information. Our Terms of Service cover this.
Keeping it safe
Data is encrypted in transit. Access is limited to the people who need it to run the service. No system is perfect, and we will tell affected users promptly if something goes wrong.
Keeping your information
We keep your account information, your content, and anything you have stored about bandmates, clients or venues while your account is active. If you close your account, all of it is deleted or anonymized within 90 days, except records we must keep for tax and accounting purposes.
Your choices
You may request a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and its content. Email littlegrunt@gigminion.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies necessary for the site to function and to remember you when you sign in. We do not use advertising cookies.
Children
GigMinion is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will post the new version here and update the effective date. Significant changes will be emailed to account holders.
